Hope, her siblings and their mother live in a small village along the shores of lake victoria, where her mother operates a small food kiosk from which she earns a living for her children since she is a single mother whose husband passed away. Hope is in top class at God's Grace primary school which is about 400 meters away from her home and she walks to school. She is a lovely girl who is friendly, and active both at school and at home. While at home, she plays games like skipping ropes, hide and seek. At home, she fetches water from the lake and also washes utensils. She loves reading as her favorite subject at school because she has a dream of becoming a nurse in future. Her special needs include school shoes, bedding and food.
